Certainly won't be lacking for new material!
Among these is the official USMC battle report film from Saipan. I have the one for Operation Flintlock, and it is incredible. All original footage with a detailed analysis - it follows 1/24 for a little while. There's a shot of the massive bunker explosion on Feb. 1, and you can see 1/24's assault boats moving in towards the beach, with splashes from debris kicked up all around them.
There's another collection of video footage from Saipan, and as soon as I can figure out how to make screen grabs, I'll post some still frames. The ones from Namur are absolutely mindblowing.
Should be some good tidings in the mail in the next week or so!

Amazon is EVIL. I did the same thing about 6 months ago, only I bought books about historical textiles and corsets!
